Rodent meat seized by US customs border patrol

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport thwarted a african migrants attempt to import dozens of pounds of African rodent meat in his suitcase.

Customs spokesman Steve Bansbach said that the migrant declared the 32 pounds of meat when his flight arrived from Africa. The dead rodents was confiscated and destroyed.

Border Patrol officials said the migrant did not face a fine and continued on his tour of the united states because he was forthcoming about what he was bringing into the country. He says customs officials prohibit the entry of African meats to prevent the spread of Ebola virus and other infectious contagious diseases.

The current Ebola Outbreak in Congo Africa has infected several thousands of people. Many Migrants are fleeing the Ebola outbreak area and taking their family members and bush meat with them to america.
